Baseball Birthday

My son turned 8 this weekend. I cannot believe my baby is growing up so fast! He loves baseball so he chose this cake design for his party. Of course he wanted Cubs colors. Although he is not a big fan of cake, he wanted his guests to have choices so he requested our top two flavors -- chocolate and almond. Happy birthday, sweet boy!

Engagement Bows

The bride's sister choose this design as a surprise at the engagement party. The wedding colors of blue and yellow were the base for this beautiful mint chocolate chip and vanilla cake. The daisy is the bride's favorite flower.

Dogwoods and Daisies

I love the dogwood flowers -- they remind me of the dogwood tree that was in my backyard when I was little. These flowers were made for a wedding cake tasting. The flavors were awesome -- strawberry cake with cream cheese icing, almond cake with coconut filling and buttercream icing, and chocolate with buttercream icing.

Whatcha Doing?

Our son's best friend turned 8 and he requested an Agent P cake with his nemesis. I love the expression on Doofenshmirtz' face as Agent P parachutes down!

Lights, Camera, Happy Birthday!

My husband and I had fun making this one! Each time we make a cake for this family, we are challenged to do something different. The birthday girl wanted a camera cake and she got it! The entire cake was chocolate...yum!

Dr. Seuss

This vanilla cake was created to celebrate a little boy's first birthday. The hat was a little tricky to balance, but it turned out to be one of my favorite designs!

Monkey Boys

My closest cousin has a new baby boy! I made this chocolate and vanilla cake in February for her shower. Now she has three monkey boys to keep her busy!
