This wedding cake was created for family friends -- I remember when the groom was born! The couple brought me a picture of cakes they liked and gave me design freedom. The cake design incorporated the tree from the wedding invitation and venue. The roses and calla lillies were the bride's choice -- orange is her favorite color! The chocolate and vanilla tiers were covered in buttercream and marshmellow fondant. The decorations were made of fondant and the flowers were made of gumpaste -- everything was edible! I am very proud of this cake -- many people complimented me on the taste as well as how realistic the flowers looked!
